Our client, a major industrial corporation, seeks a Director of Safety & Health at one of their major manufacturing sites near a metro location in Oklahoma.
The role will involve direct management of a line staff, and the client seeks a 15- to 30-year experienced Safety Manager who has significant experience in overcoming entrenched employee attitudes towards workplace safety, thereby improving the safety culture to a world-class status, and has done so at a large manufacturing site.
The position reports to a Vice President, who is local, and there is tremendous support for safety at the local and corporate management levels.
A Bachelor's degree in Safety or a closely related field is mandatory. The position is bonus-eligible, and bonuses have been paid recently, as the facility and company are profitable. A full relocation is available for qualified candidates.
