What a search means in our terms
Essentially, we are "matchmakers." We begin the search by assessing the
client's need in depth - assessing the vacancy with its specific requirements,
salary and benefits parameters, non-monetary advantages, short and long term
opportunities.

Our goal is to match the opportunity not only with technical qualifications,
but also with the personal goals and motivation of the
candidate.
A search is more an art than a science
The best candidate is one whose attitude and expectations truly mesh
with the company - its size, management style and workplace
environment.
Varied Resources
Our resources are many and varied. For some positions, we serve as our
client's exclusive search consultant, conducting highly focused industry
research from scratch. This means discreetly identifying candidates in
competitor companies or through industry associations. |
Industry Specialized
For other positions, we begin by targeting candidates through our own
industry-specialized, proprietary data base developed exclusively from personal
contacts over the past 25 years. Using these resources - and our extensive
personal contacts - we pre-screen to create a short list of top candidates.

Smooth Transitions
Next we firmly establish the credentials, motivation and
interest of these prime candidates. Once the search is narrowed, we stay
involved throughout the courtship period. Ultimately, the choice of one from
several prime contenders rests with the client. Once that choice is made, we are
experts in working with you to attract that candidate to your company. Then
Search Consultants stands by to assist a smooth transition after negotiations
are finalized and the candidate hired.
Your Vacancy Matters
For each vacancy we develop a field of prime candidates. Much of this work is
done on the phone. Through expert listening we sift through superficial
indicators to evaluate attitudes and qualifications that matter. These listening
skills, sharpened over many years, reduce the cost of the search by eliminating
unnecessary search travel costs.
